Found these in my backyard, curious about them
    #18570215 - 07/17/13 07:22 AM (10 years, 7 months ago)

* Habitat (where [woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude] and what [soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?)] does it grow on)
    * Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
    * Characteristics of the stem (length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
    * Characteristics of the cap (diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
    * Spore print color (very important!)
    * Color that the mushroom bruises
    * Scent of the mushroom
    * Anything else you might find important

Habitat: Grass,backyard, Maryland, United States

Gills of mushrooms on the right: Blackish grey, attached

Gills of mushrooms on the left: Brown, attached

Stem of mushrooms on the left: extremely thin, possibly hollow, also around two inches or less long

Stem of mushrooms on the right: around 1mm or 2mm thick and hollow, also 1 or 2 inches long

Cap of mushrooms on the left: more than a half inch in diameter, has little lines running from the top of the cap down to the brim, cap is also pretty thin

Cap of mushrooms on the right: Mature mushrooms have caps with a diameter of 2-3 inches, ones I picked have a diameter of 1-2 inches, top of the cap looks "frosted" while the brim is a little darker, also has lines but are more pronounced by the "brim"

Both are Convex

Spore prints in progress

Camera does not pick up the color of the gills very well, the gills are slightly purpleish

Conocybe apala on the left and either Coprinellus micaceus or a Psathyrella on the right.

Probably Coprinellus on the right, but I can't be certain from the photo.

I would just call that one Psathyrellaceae sp. I'm afraid neither mushroom is edible or active.

Do you think they could be Panaeolina castaneifolia? The spore print is a blackish brown.
