MADISONVILLE, TX -- Authorities have confiscated more than 18,000 marijuana plants in Central Texas after a group of deer hunters stumbled into them.
Madison County Sheriff Travis Neeley says a group of hunters were setting up deer blinds when they discovered the plants on Friday. The sheriff's office eventually confiscated 18,400 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $9 million.
Investigators say they have not arrested anyone, but suspect the pot operation was being funded by Mexican drug cartels.
Authorities say they also found 13 bags of fertilizer, 3,000 feet of irrigation piping and a generator. Neeley says hygiene products, tents and batteries were also found at a nearby campsite. He suspects the land was being used for marijuana planting for the past three years.

You best believe this wouldn't be on the news if I was with those guys. The Mexican's would still be short 18,400 plants, but no one else would know.

What would you do with 18,400 immature plants?

Those deer hunters are assholes.
I hope the owner of those plants find out who those hunters are and get revenge.
Perhaps with a bit of luck ....we will be able to read in the news a story about a group of deer hunters in Texas, near Madisonville, that were found in the woods shot dead, and pissed on with a sign posted saying.." This is what happens to tattletales"

I would have waited until they were going to flower, find the growers, and ask if they needed any help. I'd trade labor for weed.

Well, they'd know I wasn't a narc and wasn't going to ripoff their grow operation. If they told me to fuck off then fair enough.

Haha, anyone want to guess where my deer lease is?!?!?! Not sure I would want to smoke that weed anyway, oil literally bubbles to the surface all around there. You can see oil sheen on most standing water.
