Trying to find Psilocybe Subaeruginosa in Melbourne

Hello, users of Shroomry, I have been on the hunt for a certain magic mushroom in Eastern Melbourne (mainly Lilydale and Belgrave line) and it seems the search is just becoming near to impossible, I have done as much as research as I can on this Mushroom and it just seems that there is very little information on this, I have checked this site and searched on google, here is what I know so far about this shroom Season is March - August Stains blue when pinched (apparently) Usually grows about a day after decent rain Grows on tanbark and under pine trees
I do know the details of the cap because I have seen some before picked by a mate However, it seems that they are no longer around, other people seem to be finding them except myself, I have searched about 15 areas that are covered in tan park, have nice shade and under the pine trees, I have even moved around the little leaves and crap of the ground to see if they're hiding, but it seems my luck is just absolute crap
I need more details about this mushroom, where does it exactly grow, what weather conditions does this shroom grow in or after?
Or is there another mushroom you recommend I should try finding?
-------------------- Be happy

I felt like this for a while but dude just read more and keep looking in new places until you find em.
I found reading through all the season threads from previous years (especially the older ones) helped the most.
This is also very helpful. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16164170/fpart/1/vc/1

Hi, when in season, Psilocybe subaeruginosa is the most plentiful magic species in southern Australia. There are regular reports of people stumbling onto patches of hundreds in suburban Melbourne.
I'd recommend searching the forums using Google. Use the format (site:www.shroomery.org/forums/ psilocybe subaeruginosa melbourne) for example. It's all about being imaginative with your search terms, because there is a TON of info out there, and thousands of photos so you know exactly what you should be picking. As said before, read the whole of the last few years worth of official Melbourne threads. There's gold in them.
Good luck!

Cant emphasis that enough.
read throught he official Melbourne threads, there are a few years of them now.
Should give you some ideas.
But when in season they are a weed species! Once you can happily ID them youlll find them almost everywhere.
