Need help finding a driver
    #1855268 - 08/27/03 04:53 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

Hey guys, usually I'm pretty good with things like this but I'm short on cash and the only network card I could get my hands on was from an old computer I had lying around.

It's made by SMC, and on the side says "998". There are a few serial numbers on it:

NETWP004AAUS and D1E029340.

It also says, "Network Address: 0000C0 6F0BFB".

Any help, please? I've tried finding a driver but there's hundreds of them and I can't find any other identifying marks or model numbers on this. Thanks.

Win98. The chip looks like this...

SMC

83C795QF P
C9647
6H80955-5

It also says "60-600509-003 REV B" at the top of the card.

http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?sec=Products&pg=Adapter-Matrix&site=c

has all their current NIC products. No idea what the model is?

btw, I have an SMC router that works extremely well. I'd recommend 3com NICs, though.
