  well, it does look happy to me! no humidity tent, i simply have a "semi-hydro tek" that works wonders :laugh:  simply, let the roots grow in water,as simple as that. yield is quite impressive

Any soil, soil-less mix, verm, or perlight in there.

I hope you get some good cutting of that plant. I thinking of doing something like that. Pic tell you so much.

yes,  the coffee cup is filled with regular potting soil; there are holes at the bottom of the cup for the oots, and i put liquid plant food in the water every one or two weeks.  :smile:

This is more or less like a hydroponics system except not as fancy.

The roots won't drown per se as long as the water is changed regularly enough (as roots require oxygen), there are nutrients in it, and it's not harboring infectious agents or mold and other things.
