Kratom is a yes!
    #18543812 - 07/11/13 12:23 PM (10 years, 8 months ago)

Man, my mood is really uplifted right now.
I just got my kratom about an hour ago in the mail, I immediately encapsulated and took three grams. It hit me roughly 30 minutes ago with a wave of :feelsgoodman:. Don't get me wrong, it's subtle, but it's worth every penny.

What do you guys think about kratom?

Kratom is certainly enjoyable, but I've had so many horrible experiences trying to consume the powder without capsules that I have an inherent bias against it now.

Here are a few of the horrible, horrible methods we attempted that no one should ever try: peanut butter, jelly and kratom sandwiches, kratom chocolate pudding, kratom chocolate milk, kratom water, kratom in any type of liquid at all, kratom incorrectly toss n' washed, etc.  :puke:  :badidea:

Yeah, I tasted some of the powder just to see if it lived up to the hype and it is pretty bad. It smells like harmless green tea, but it tastes like green tea's fat ugly cousin.

Not only is the taste horrible, but if you get the micron powder it's just minute enough to get stuck in between your taste buds which is such a horrible feeling that even remembering it is making my tongue writhe in horror.

I'm incredibly skeptical of that. I thought pudding was a brilliant idea but god damn was that the most disgusting pudding I've ever had. Granted my ratio of kratom to pudding was really horrible.

Man if you fuck up kratom toss n wash and get it in your nose or lungs.....you might as well wipe your ass with aids ridden sand paper.

I put it in coffee one time......NO

I put it in yogurt sometimes....meh not bad

Apple sauce.......meh...could be better, but it was easily done

THE WORST THING I EEEVVVVEEERRRR DID......was make spaghetti sauce with it.....it was by far the WORST spaghetti ever....and it was followed by a lot of indigestion and a bit of vomit.

I got hiccups on kratom so much it's not worth me doing.  I mean severe hiccups.  I couldn't make them go away with deep breaths, peanut butter, drinking upsidedown....NOTHING.  And they would last hours.  The whole time I watched django unchained in the theaters I sounded like a drunk hobo in the corner...HHHIIIIIYUUUUPPP.

Agreed, I mixed kratom and applesauce and It was possibly one of my worst ideas ever. It doesn't help that I usually take 10-15grams at a time so it needed a LOT more applesauce...

If it's subtle your probably not taking enough. For me kratom is more intense than most opiates I do because my opiate tolerance is so high. Also I am very jealous because I was expecting kratom in the mail today and it never came.

Some super green malay. It was supposed to be on the stimulating side, and it is! I got it for an okay price, but I only got an ounce. I'm ordering in bulk directly from the source next time for sure. I'll probably get white vein next time as well.

I meant subtle when compared to the other substances I've done. I never really tried opiates and I'm not really looking for too much sedation.

Ive been using red vein for a while but I read there are better kinds for feeling relaxed...There'a a lot of contradictory stuff online about kratom.  Recently tried Meng Da and it was ok I didn't dose right because people said it was much stronger...didn't seem to be but I didn't take/buy much of it.  What kind do you guys use?

I used some greek yogurt, fruit at the bottom. I put in enough kratom that I couldn't really taste the fruit anymore, but I guess I don't really mind the taste of kratom. just as long as it's not so dry that it seeps all moisture from my mouth.

When you put enough in so it's like whipped yogurt it can be a little gross but if you don't have enough left sometimes you can catch a cool buzz without all the shit taste.  Applesauce has always been another good one

Finally on post 1000!!!!!!

Toss and wash in a protein shaker with some real grapefruit juice works like a charm :awehigh:

put Kratom in cup.

Add Lemon juice (enough to moisten all the kratom)

Add boiling water

Let steep for 10 minutes

Strain

Add honey

Drink

REPEAT TILL IT AINT BITTER.

I guess babys can't drink they tea... JK... But srsly it tastes so GOOD... Like super bitter astringent green tea.  Medicine.

Or you could encapsulate it.

I just went on a run and the experience was pretty cool. My mind was racing substantially less while running so it was easier to do so. I was capable of pushing myself a bit harder which was also pretty great. Unfortunately my mp3 died while I was running and I usually can't run well without it. But, my mind wasn't racing, so it was much easier to run without music as well!

Pretty good stuff.

Yeah, Kratom tea is the best method I've found as far as taste goes, but don't you lose some efficiency when making tea?

That was my worry too. How many times do you have to steep it before most of the active chemicals are absorbed into the water? Is there anything you could add to the water to increase solubility?
