Lbm growing out of log, cap textured like a snowcap

Found this on the 5th, was extremely hungover sweating like a whore in church from the heat. It was at the end of a long hike so the pics could be better but hopefully are sufficient for an ID.

Growing out of wood??? I don´t think so...
My guess is Flammulaster or Phaeomarasmius.
There is some good Flammulaster and Phaeomarasmius microscopy on mushroomobserver.org, so a microscope would be helpful here.

Wish I had a microscope. I considered buying one (with a camera) a while back but didn't have the spare funds, it slipped my mind when I finally did. Thanks

No I didn't, but I found more today. I was planning on heading out again tomorrow, I'll snag one or two and take a print. Been getting quite a bit of rain lately, hopefully find some different stuff. When do chants start showing up?

I won't take that bet. It probably is Flammulaster murricatus. Or Pholiota granulosa. Or some other Pholiota from sect Flavidula. I just can't shake how non crenulate and white the gills are.
