Yeah, I tried the search engines, google, bing, shroomery.. I can't find my answer..
Can I fruit crimini mushrooms with an active species with no problems? I would assume yes, but then again, I think too much..
If I'm clear for launch let me know. If your going to get mad about me not being able to find my answer elsewhere, don't even post please.. I've tried looking for 2 days on the search engine, and a simple yes or no would be absolutely tits.
Thanks y'all.

Fruiting temps are probably completely different. Look up the fruiting conditions of both and you'll know, I don't have my copy of Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms and don't know which active species you're growing so IDK. You could also....nvm.....you don't want to hear that

I don't know. But I'm curious to see what others say.
I remember seeing a grow kit that was half Porto's and half buttons. Apparently they were non compatible strains.
Both cubes and crimini are dung lovers, so I think it might work.

Well thank you, my active species would be a four pack sample from spore store.. They're all different types but their cubensis..
I want to grow portabella mushrooms because their delicious, but idk if it would work in a cubensis fruiting chamber.
I could also what? Perhaps use the notorious search engine??. I can't work my magic on search engines, they fuckin hate me..

And I think you need a secondary stage compost for the portabellas. As secondary decomposers they also need metabolites from other primary decomposers to germinate their spores. Learned that the hard way with ABM spores.

Many species can be combined into a single bed outdoors, but with different fruiting times and other parameters it's best to keep them separate indoors. RR
