Are these WBS jars ready..?
    #1851728 - 08/26/03 02:40 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

I started these jars on Aug 19th. 2 days ago the WBS jars looked like they do in the pick so I shook them up. Today(pic) their covered again. About how much longer until the WBS might be ready? I shook them after PC'ing, after inoc, and 2 days ago. Their incubating at 84*-85*F. They seem to be growing really fast, and so far no contams. The PF jars I included just to look at!

6 jars of KS "T3" in WBS & 4 PF jars of GC.

the ones on the left look ready. as long as they are completely covered with white they are ready. you may want to stick them in the fridge over night to make them fruit faster before casing or birthing
hope that helped

most people wait about a week after they look 100% colonized just to make sure the center is colonized too.

so I would wait a bit longer

some of the jars look not quite done, on a few spots near the bottoms .
turn the jar over, if all the grain is covered in mycelium,it is probably ready, but a couple more days wouldn't hurt .
lookin' good
