so ive made my cooked long grain brown rice substrate and innoc. today! any one that has used this method of substrate..let me know how it worked. also what kind of casing tek you used, i was thinking of verm, and peat moss but would i also have to use perlie too or just the verm, moss combo?

cool.. what if i used soil that has been fertilized by worms, instead of verm.? i know a dude that raises worm and to be true man, thats good dirt! can i use that and peatmoss? or maybe you gotta a link that'll tell me how to do just that?

You could still sterilize it. But what's more important: the casing layer shouldn't contain nutri?nts, so why bother?
