I have a VERY VERY eclectic taste in music that would surprise you. maybe even shock you.

How so. because I view music as a language shared by ALL. And I love diversity.

Almost everyone say the same as you do and we see how much crap there is.

Try finding ultra modern music which carries on advanced and intellectual music from back in the days. Developing music the way it's supposed to be IMO.

Are you searching for some new artists, friend?

No. I put what you posted on par with Bieber. It's the same simplicity, only this one fits to 20 - 35 year old 'philosophers', gamers and cool people. Difference between that and traditional Dubstep is minimal. It might sound a tad bit different but the audience should be relatively similar, only Dubstep fans are typically younger.

You should check this out:

I highly recommend you and others reading this thread and listen to the track I posted while tripping some time. Picture ants, lots and lots and lots of it. You can try right now picturing a machine creating bar codes on the hit (splash) after the product has been through three or four percussion steps (sounds like keys or some light metal). If you manage to get over the fact that I declined the specific track you posted.

Psychological music?  :what:

That is just plain wrong. Sorry. I have no idea what you mean by intelligent music.

Do some research. Here is an example of them not evolving into new directions.

This whole thread is about intelligent music.

As in regards to my two statements directed towards you:

What is the most intelligent action to do for a business? What is the most intelligent action to do for humanity in your opinion?

The music type evolved or developed into:

Intelligent music is not a real term. I fell your questions are going to be misleading. The Beatles are not a business. They were a musical group. What a business's goals are is irrelevant to this conversation. As far as the most intelligent thing for humanity, that also has nothing to do with music. Music is artistic expression and entertainment.

If you are implying that the Beatles evolved into the Back Street Boys, well I won't even waste time replying to that. My level of caring about this topic has dropped to zero. I just know you are factually incorrect. I don't give a shit what anyone thinks about the Beatles.

what is annoying to me and HAUNTS me is, that much of the music I have has been taped, but I do not know who the artists are!! So when I hear a track that so moves me that I am literally going into ecstatic spasms, I am left not knowing who it is!!!!! And there is nothing I can do about it. I am left devoid of mercy

There is NO technology existing that can hear a sound and tell you the source, unlike images--'Tineye'--as far as I know.

I have tried to get radio broadcasters to listen over the phone but they never will. But the misic I have is an absolute amazing collection. And eclectic mix and HOW, and I mean we are talking 12century singing nuns also lol

What a business's goals are is irrelevant to this conversation. As far as the most intelligent thing for humanity, that also has nothing to do with music. Music is artistic expression and entertainment.

The way and concept of Justin Bieber/One Direction controlling a specific group of people is very intelligent.

A business's #1 goal is to make money, so is Bieber's goal and The Beatles when they were active. Through money you control the masses. Creating a brand - an indoctrinated reflex. Every professional band want's to create a business out of their music, however, this tiny fraction of truly intelligent music is not appealing to the masses because it is just that, truly intelligent or too intelligent for most. Not only that, it's also STRONGLY against what is mainstream in society. Honest music if you want.

Most intelligent 'thing' for humanity is all but focusing on controlling each other looking at the big picture.

Music is much, much, much more than simply "artistic expression and entertainment". When music is played people are mesmerized.

If you are implying that the Beatles evolved into the Back Street Boys

I don't give a shit what anyone thinks about the Beatles.

Clearly not.

Intelligent music follows a formula.

It is well known that music plays to the emotions, and that our emotive side is not always the most rational.

It seems to be one of the better brainwashing techniques, play music that has been proven to be "catchy", create some lyrics which make whatever is being sung about as 'cool' and wallah.

You control a large portion of societies values, based on only what is perceived as 'cool'.

The socio-sexual circuit is so...robotic, in the sense, controllable as well.

I don't see how Justin Bieber controls people. He plays on tween girls to get cash. It is just a marketing ploy. You have lumped a lot of people into that category that don't belong, such as micheal jackson, elvis and the beatles.

This quote from you is just horse shit.

Quote:

Being able to recognize differences between quality and trash is a skill VERY few have. Even the majority of people studying music at a higher level have little clue as they do not take society for what it is IMO.

You are really saying if you don't like what I like you are not intelligent. Show me some metric for the intelligence of music.

Control:
Noun
The power to influence or direct people's behavior or the course of events.
Verb
Determine the behavior or supervise the running of.

The musicians you mention contributed to the mainstream scene. They were main inspirations to artists like Bieber, Lady Gaga, One Direction etc.

You are really saying if you don't like what I like you are not intelligent. Show me some metric for the intelligence of music.

Far from it, there are lots of music out there I do not find enjoyable yet I understand it is intelligent. Metric? More like common sense. This goes to the very core when it comes to music.

I'm glad this thread was made.

Music as a brainwashing tool it seems hasn't even really been thought about by many here which is somewhat surprising.

Music, culture, sociosexual thoughts and actions...

all easily manipulated, this is why T. Mckenna was so against culturemind.
