I just finished reading the lengthy thread about hips bleach tek. It was very interesting and informative and i appreciate the knowledge. I have a gaint insane miniature space hamster that recently started an opp and he needs to pasteurize roughly 400 lbs of manure. I heard from a friend that this could be done with bleach or a bleach solution rather than in an oven, as the only oven available is the one in my hamsters low rent two bedroom cage. Has any one had success pasteurizing straw with a bleach solution alone? If bleach alone won't work on the poo anyone have any better ideas?
Thanks, Da Kronik
p.s. whats your favrotite kind of manure, worm casting, horse, cow, chicken?

we pasturize straw/dung with bleach and lime in hot water, works great. see vision's laundry baskets and rodger's straw logs for examples. both teks are posted at mycotopia and cross-posted here in adv.
