Favorite Tarantino Film???

Trying to decide between a few and they all happen to be directed by Tarantino which got me thinking which of all the movies he has made over the years, nearly all classics, my favorite i have decided after two bowls is: GrindHouse- Double Feature/DeathProof & Planet Terror (The latter i believe directed by Robert Rodriguez actually) so Death Proof lol..
Opinions?

Pulp fiction I absolutely love that flick easily up there in my top 5 movies. Quote:
Where's my honda? Sorry baby had to crash that honda.
I liked kill bill too, it was a very unique film. Really a first of it's kind.
Django was good, as was reservoir dogs.
Dusk till dawn was a big favorite of mine as a kid. Quote:
Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!
Fucker has got quite a few good ones.

If you count movies he wrote but didn't direct, True Romance is one of my favourite films of all time, and definitely my favourite Tarantino film.

Reservoir Dogs is my favorite because it is a cohesive movie. Pulp Fiction is entertaining but it jumps around too much to hold together. Jackie Brown is good and grows on me more over time. The movies he made after that were good but I'm not sure how special they are. He wrote True Romance but didn't make it. It's good and it still has his mark on. I haven't watched the new ones yet, Inglorious Bastards and Django Unchained seem like they will be good.

#4 Pulp Fiction (I'd probably like it more if it was made in the 2000s)
#3 Four rooms (although he only contributed, still a trippy LSD movie)
#2 Kill Bill series (2 was better than 1 imo, kinda pissed he lied about making a 3rd, but at the same time, it couldn't live up to it's predecessors)
#1 Django (fucking awesome, although it needed more blood)

1 Django undoubtedly the best Western since 1995
2 Reservoir Dogs
3 Jackie brown highly underrated
4 True Romance. While quentin wasnt the director, he still had everything to do with this movie and its basically his brainchild
Quentins my favorite director of all time though. i love all of his movies. i cant wait till he confirms his next one, all ive hard is rumors so far

Best story he wrote(Not screenplay), Natural Born Killers.
Pulp Fiction hands down for the total package.
Quote:
Heffy said: True Romance is one of my favourite films of all time
Probably one of my favorites right under Pulp Fiction, or even a tie. It's shorter and to the point.
Reservoir Dogs ranks up there.
Kill Bill was a fun flick/series.
Wasn't a big fan of Django, it was good just didn't think it was that great.
Inglourious Basterds... some day I will give it a shot again. I just didn't find it that interesting when I last looked at it.
Still need to watch Jackie Brown, for some reason I have started it 2 or three times over the decade but never finished it, sopmething to do with boring from what I remember.

i am positive. i know westerns, many of them have great scenery and actually make good stories. django didn't come off like that, it was purely action. not hating though, django was great, just wouldn't categorize it as a western.

there are some not even mentioned excellent
Inglourious Basterds, Four Rooms and Sin City to name a few
what I like about tarantino is that his movies are usually never the same, each has a unique feel to them and he really sets a mood throughout the movies

I mentioned four rooms, great flick, although tarantino had little to do with it.
Inglourious basterds and sin city, not so great. Tarantino did not have much to do with sin city either, that was primarily Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.........

Django would have been better if there were some more dead nigger storage parts. Instead it was all about a live nigger killin every white person he saw. I can't stand Jamie Fox so Django gets the bottom of the list for me. Except in the gore department. Very nice job on gore in this movie.

Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction. What he did in "4 Rooms" was also good.

Tolerence said: Trying to decide between a few and they all happen to be directed by Tarantino which got me thinking which of all the movies he has made over the years, nearly all classics, my favorite i have decided after two bowls is: GrindHouse- Double Feature/DeathProof & Planet Terror (The latter i believe directed by Robert Rodriguez actually) so Death Proof lol..
Opinions?
My favorite is Jackie Brown. I really enjoy most of his films, but i've seen most of them too many times now. Especially pulp fiction
