Experienced Grower Needs Help Please!!

Alright, I have some problems. I have been an avid grower of several things for about 6 years and this grow is not going well. Here is my setup: 6 cakes, 20 gal terrarium, perlite on the bottom, manually fanned.
There are some mushies growing, but they are soggy as hell, I think this is because the water was coming up through the lids and hitting the shrooms, I added perlite this a.m...is there any hope for recovery? I also placed a fluorescent light that I use for cannab. clones on top of the plexi-glass and added a u-shaped ventilation. I am hoping that this will create the humidity, but not give the shrooms so much water. I am hoping it will also add heat and the water will be drawn to the heat. Could it possibly also make the soggy ones grow and be alright? I see all these pictures with shrooms growing like crazy...I need to start doing this differently, please any help would be appreciated. I also mist them once a day. They are kept at about 78 F. Anyways, they wont grow...only in the beginning did they grow and i got about 1/2 oz. dry...I am growing z-strain (GT's) and EQ's...
Thanks alot friends, you people are great!

From what I've read on this forum, the problem of soggy shrooms could be remedied by removing all sources of humidity until they stop being soggy.

My friend has never experienced "soggy" shrooms or read about them, sounds like they're rotting. Get them out of there-if my friend were you. -Mr.Sleep

The shrooms are very small, but they have a soggy film on top of the caps...there isnt even a showing of the veil yet. We'll see what happens.

Your shrooms probably aren't rotten or anything, they're just getting water logged because the cakes are most likely soaking up too much water and causing them to be "bloated" and funky looking - especially if you have the cakes just sitting on the jar lids ( are they growing mostly from the bottom of the cakes? ) Just get the cakes up off the perlite and fan them more and the next flush should look a lot better.
