How big of a San Pedro cutting would you need to take to experience a average to heavy mescaline trip?

Trying to measure cactus dose in length is kinda silly. San Pedro can be 2" thick - 4" thick. Also, consider that the measured alkaliod content varies considerably. That said ... If I had to give advice sight unseen, I would say if you have the "average" 3" San Pedro it would take at least 1ft. 14"-18" is probably most often average to somewhat heavy.  If you boil make sure you don't scorch it and make sure you get it all. (the pulp should not taste bitter when you're done).

make a search for the pedro syrup post, that's the most intelligent way to approach...
or go to www.nansnook.com and see the original syrup recipe!

on the other hand, for a 5 1/2" diameter specimen you sometimes need as littel as 5"; though, more often you will need about 8".

when ingesting a new san pedro [or any other plant entheogen for that matter] for the first time, start low. if the speimen is more potent thatn expected [as it often is] you may not want to be where the amount you consumed is taking you. be careful, be safe and have fun.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
