Im not sure if any of my iso's would stand up to yours tests either. At this point, im just happy to be growing shrooms.
I feel the same bro, only on my second bulk ever, lots of knots, fingers crossed.

Yea. All the Cambos look like they performed like shit. Oh well. The W-Cs look nice, though.

Frank this is awesome stuff man. I can't wait to get comfortable enough to start messing around with cloning and agar work. You have so many good teks man, I actually used your wbs tek to get started on my first grow which just kicked off. They are colonizing now so come check it out soon

Frank,
I've been doing a lot of clone to agar work.
Now that I have been isolating and testing different clones...
1. After I spawn and find one that fruits successfully and efficiently as I am looking for, do I simply clone a fruit from that flush to use in future grows?
2. Is it possible to keep cloning after grows whose mother was many tubs ago to continue future grows, or will it begin to perform poorly due to generations?
3. Ultimately, after I find a successfully fruiting clone/isolate, how do I keep those genetics around. Is an agar slant my only real choice in the matter?

Ya. I was just thinking that as I was looking at the tub. I must have just gotten really really luck with my clone.
I have about 8 ounces per monotub. Better luck next time.

That's what I've always done. Theory is you want to have the culture you've isolated with as few ticks as possible on its replication clock. So you kind of have to refrig samples of what's going into fruiting so you can propagate from those. There may be another/better way about this but

Ive never used a slant. I just refrigerate colonized petri dishes in ziplock bags. Works like a charm.
