Temp too high for fruiting??
    #1848074 - 08/25/03 11:11 AM (20 years, 7 months ago)

I went to the good ol' ass doc to get my daily cleaning. The Doc told me that he has this terrarium sittin in his closet at home and it's been around 4-5 days since he birthed them. He dunked/cold shocked. The cakes have a ton of fuzz on them. Question is, his place is kinda warm. The cloest temp is in the low to mid 80. Is there anything he should do to lower themp? What's a good remedy?? I heard someone mentioning ice packs, but how would you implent that procedure without getting it too cold? My ass doc thanks you!

yes that temp is too high, it needs to be around 75 idealy. try moving it out of the closet to a place w/ better circulation. if that isnt possible, go to wallyworld and get yourself one of those "turbo-fans" from honeywell for like $10 and put it in there.

it really doesnt matter, just put it somewhere in there on high, i would say aimed up towards the ceiling, or maybe towards a wall or something like you said. open the door occasionally and let some "fresh" air in. i can almost garuntee that it will drop the temp in there, but seeing as how i never had that problem i can be totaly for sure. im sitting in front of my fan now and its on low and i can deffinately feel a difference in my room, so in a closet im sure itll help out. also, be sure to turn the fan off when fanning, you dont want a lot of dust and contams floating around in there right before you try.
