Some Gulf Coast Florida Cubensis, in a small pasture
    #1846909 - 08/25/03 12:31 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

Hey guys, here's some pics from a find about 45 minutes North of Tampa. These were found on 8/23/03. It was a sunny and hot day.

This pasture was occupied by a friendly cow and her baby

The field was only about 1/4 of an acre. However, it supported some excellent mushrooms.

I like these two poking out of the hay

Here's a smaller one

Thanks Cow!

Wow man! - that looks great. I'm in St. Petersbaurg and recently started finding some "copes" in a very small pasture near my home. I haven't found any "cubes" yet, but I've only looked around a small area so far.

I went hunting on 08/22/03 and got to see a calf being born in the field that I was hunting in. Not that that has anything to do with your thread, but your picture of the calf reminded me of the event.
