song by I think anti flag, but I might be wrong. it's about white supremacy / neo nazi's and there's a little interlude where the singer gives a speech that goes something like "so what are the accomplishments of the great white race? imperialism, 7-11's, etc (or something kind of like that)?
thanks.
oh, someone told me it might be the DK's "nazi punks fuck off" but it isn't.

I don't know as much about kiddy-core like Anti-Flag, but I know a hell of a lot about punk rock.
I've seen them but I don't remember all the crap their singer ranted about.
Download their stuff off of kazaa. You'll probably find it.
Might be Propagandhi. Their schtick is usually along those lines.

what exactly are the great historical accomplishments of "your" race that make you proud to be white? Capitalism? Slavery? Genocide? Sitcoms? Guns? War? Pollution? Addiction? NAFTA? Thigh-Master? This is your fucking white-history, my "friend".
Guns are a Chinese invention. War is something all peoples indulge in, but the definitive how-to manual is also Chinese.
No race has a monopoly on slavery, addiction, genocide, or pollution.
Racial pride is a stupid concept.
Capitalism rocks.

wingnutx, what kind of punk do you listen to?
cause I wasn't aware that there was a "support the status quo" branch of punk... I think you might have "punk rock" confused with "country western", cause that'd be more up your alley.
you must be lame shit at shows. "yay for capitalism! party!"

This from a racist college kid who has to go blegging for information about punk rock on a bulletin board, so he can whip it out elsewhere and pretend he knows something. Kill yourself. That'll upset the status quo. BTW, if you can find my interview in MRR, I will give you a dollar.

Iknow a fair bit about punkrock too, and dont consider anti flag much of a punk band, they have some..preachy lyric's, and are very preachy live...not very heavy or innovative. I dont know the song either...skrewdriver has lots of nazi lyrics

You should check out my friend Sean's band Jewdriver!
They steal skrewdriver songs, and change the lyrics to stuff about being Jewish. They throw bagels at the crowd, and have hot Asian chicks in the band.

Contact Info: Ian_Stuartstein@yahoo.com hahahaha! I bet a nazi's head explodes when he sees that

people who are always looking out for posers are typically the biggest posers... like flag waving cpaitalist "punks" such as yourself. I like the song = I try to find the song. it's actually pretty simple if you aren't always preoccupied with who is more "in the scene" than you are, etc.
Propagandhi display a conciousness of the reality of the powers struggle because being gay, they themselves are minorities who are denied equality in white culture.
as for the accomplishments of the white race... they didn't say that the white race "invented" any of these, just pointed out that these qualities are the most prominent features in the history of the white race.

I agree. You are the only one doing that here
The whole premise of this thread is that you don't know much about punk rock, but then you go and judge how punk someone else is. That is immensely silly.
I also know that you made this thread because you were trying to quote that song on another board and fucked it all up.
That was the same board where you were calling shakta a poser for listening to rap groups you don't approve of.
I guess you are the final arbiter of both hip-hop and punk rock credibility. You are a busy little beaver!

see, the difference is I didn't have to make anything up, you were actually lame enough to give capitalism a shout out as if was cool.

there you go making things us again. the premise of this thread was that I couldn't remember a song. I understand the punk ethic, which is something that I'm sure you just live. keep fighting man.
Quote:

if by "fucked it up" you mean "couldn't remember a song" than yeah... I sure conveyed the meaning well though, which is what matters. you're obviously reaching... get a life....

"looking back, NWA is so basic and.....blah blah etc" of course I was making fun of some white guy trying to act like he knew anything about NWA. Quote:

between you, me, and shakta, yup, you're (for once) right on the money.
how if only you'd stop watching so much nascar, you might be able to grasp the idea that music scenes aren't a vehicle you can ride to credibility... it's for the music, man.

I thought you just said there was a punk ethic, something to do with bashing capitalism. I hate to break it to you, but not everyone is a crustie or a crass-loving hippy. (but then, you didn't know what those were until I told you)
Give it up, junior. You are on one of those 'mythic, golden past' trips of yours.

damn, the on the end of that quote didn't paste.
I thought that was a pretty fucked up thing to say, and earlier you condemned my criticism of shakta being a wannabe.
