Small Fruits

So, I'm trying to figure out if I just have some weak ass genetics or not. This is one of the best pinsets I've ever had. The problem is they're all really small, this is about 3 or four days of pinning. Sorry the pic isn't so great. My room has been fairly hot, like 80 degrees. I believe this particular culture was off a pin that hadnt matured very far. Do you guys think these small fruits could be environmental, or did I just get a decent clone of a small mushroom?

yep i'd choose a couple to clone, you should see bigger fruits in later flushes so i wouldn't sweat it yet

Alright word. I had some fruits that I knew were bigger off the same sub I got this clone from. The thing is, I took those clone masters and put them into bags which all shit the bed, so all I had was the clones off of really immature pins which I had no idea how big they'd get. Apparently they flush dense though.

oh i didn't see this was already from a clone don't bother cloning again then just fruit it out and see what comes in the following flushes and if your still not happy take prints and try again

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I had gotten a good clone or not, but the even pinset and the fairly consistent shape of the mushrooms makes me think I got a good one....But as I said, when I genked the pin I used to make the clone jar, it hadn't grown out too much. The other clones I had made were definitely from bigger mushrooms (about seven inches tall), but I used them to try my first attempt at bags....They all failed x(

Yeah, awesome pinset, not much weight there though.

Mushrooms love water! Maybe the high temperatures caused the substrate to get dry?
I'm really hoping to see a pinset like that on my current project.
Does lower temperatures cause bad pinset's?

Indeed they do, but my tub is holding moisture fine. plenty of dew drops, now puddles to speak of. I really think I just need to pick my clones when they're a little older so I know what I'm getting into. I'm not sure how a lower temperature would effect the pinset. I think that an even pinset is largely (but not completely) determined by genetics.
