maybe it's the magik....

here's my story:

I went hunting yesterday morning where I've been finding my cope's fairly regularly. There was a new LBM growing it tuffs all over. At first I just gave it off as "not what I was looking for". I went again this morning and found a few small cope's and decided I would get some of this other LBM to print and try to identify what it was - but all of them were gone... like vanished... disappeared.... leaving absolutely no evidence they were ever there. Either I was seeing things yesterday or "perhaps" they were magik..........

Thats definitly happened to be before,its an old myth i heard about that at sunrise those little brown manna's suck back down under the ground as if they are hiding from the rays from the biggest star known to mankind,the sun.

I've never heard about this myth - what's the story or is there any info on the origin of this myth? There were like thousands of these all over the place. I know now that I didn't imagine seeing them because I clearly recall stooping down and picking one to examine the gills and see if it would bruise blue.

To give you an ID we would need a photograph or at least a detailed description of the mushrooms in question.
