Oxiclean as dessicant?
Oxiclean is primarily comprised of Sodium Carbonate. It's my understanding that sodium carbonate absorbs both moisture and oxygen from the air. Would this make it the perfect, long-lasting dessicant?
Could not I use it to whiten my socks after I'm done drying my shroomies with it?
What do you think?

Hey Ped...if your looking for a good dessicant man, my FOAF was down in safeway on 16th ave yesterday @ north hill mall, and down the pet aisle they had silica gel cat littler crystals there, i have been told those work GREAT as a dessicant. Just a thought for a fellow calgarian! BTW: Hope you saw the fireworks last night.
