Money making ventures
    #1845101 - 08/24/03 11:20 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

First off.. Hi. I've been browsing these forums for a while now. Finally decided to register.

I'm curious if any of you have some simple ways to make a little extra cash. Here's what I have done recently. I've been selling books on half.com. Schoolbooks from last year, old books I've finished reading, and the likes. Occasionally you can find cool hardcover books at thrift stores which are good for listing too. I'm also thinking I could find some cool junk at garage sales and list them on ebay. I'm just apprehensive about attending garage sales, I need to find an accomplice first.

As far as illegal ventures go, I've thought about making fake id's. I'm planning, in time, to at least get setup to make one for myself. Not for drinking, but for getting myself a mailbox etc. box, etc.

And lastly, I've thought about opening a business of some sort. I have at least one friend who would invest in it. Perhaps a movie rental store or landscaping business. The problem with this would be: preparation and dedication. Probably wait until I'm older.. late 20's, early 30's. (19 now) So..If you've got a thought on this subject, please share..

I used to be a research subject for an experimental HIV test. It was uberfast; you'd get your results in 15 mins. $40 bucks a pop - I went once a week for about a year. I can say with 100.00000% certainity I am clean and ready for all yer daughters, sisters, and mamas

Becone a ho.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

just rob a bank, than use the money to invest in a mutual fund, at least it's half moral.

Cool, thanks. I'll look these up. Anyone know where would I look locally to become a research subject? Local universities?

Rob a bank? Thought about it.. whimsically. Too much stress involved.
8 years of school? Not yet. If I go to school it will be because I really want to study something. I'm thinking I might apply to a few schools next fall.

At my school you can go to the psychology department and if you admit that you are an alcoholic you can take this test and get paid 40 dollars for it.

Invent a new and unneccesary consumer product, like a dildo with a clock or something.

Pharmacuetical research is the way to go. We have like 5 different places around here that will pay you big bucks to sit around, watch tv, eat free food, sleep, and take drugs. Look up pharmacuetical research in the phone book.
