Think this tray is done colonizing?
    #18419766 - 06/14/13 05:06 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Please take a quick look. Spawned about 10 days ago at nearly 1:1. BRF to coir/verm. White fuzz over the whole surface including those brown looking areas. Water beads on top. From the sides (clear container) it's not solid white either but the appearance basically hasn't changed in days. Is a coir tray supposed to get solid white or is this what done looks like? Ready for the fruiting chamber?

Thanks!

After complete colonization I like to allow my tubs to consolidate for 3-5 days depending on my patience. People say it is unnecessary, but I find it doesn't hurt and I get great results, so it's just part of my method.

That tub is probably ready, but a couple more days wouldn't hurt , either.

Thanks guys. I moved it into the FC on Tuesday morning -- so, nearly 14 days after spawning. Hopefully that provided for a few days of colonization since it didn't change in appearance much over the last several days or more. Wish me luck! So far my (possibly unreliable but calibrated best I can) hygrometer is holding at 90%. Any guesses on timeline for seeing the next milestones of progress? I leave town two weeks from tomorrow and I'm hoping not to have to find a babysitter!

You'll see action in 5-7 days, assuming proper air flow and humidity.
