Leaving my grow for a week

Hi all, this is my first grow via PF Tek (although it feels like I've done it a thousand times after doing so much relentless researching) I will hopefully be inoculating this weekend if the rest of my supplies arrive on time. My main question is if I inoculate on the 21st of June and plan to go away for a week on the 20th July what might go wrong? I understand that times vary greatly and that if my jars haven't colonised by the time I go away it should be ok because of the 1 week consolidation (although if I don't know when they reach full colonization I won't know when they have had a week consolidation). I would just leave the grow till I get back but I am going to a festival at the end of Aug and would really like them to be ready, if I inoculate this weekend it will leave me 2 months plus 1 week untill the fest which I hope will be enough time even if it takes a bit longer than usual. I will be incubating at around 25/26 Celsius and fruiting at around 21/22 Celsius... I feel like I might be playing with fire a bit and if it needs I will wait and start the grow at the end of Aug but the grow is mainly for this fest so it would kind of defeat the object but logic has to be the main concern over desire... Any input appreciated. Cheers.

Your logic sounds fine. If you start them now it'll be ~30 days to fully colonize, as you stated. Also deftly noted by you was the week of consolidation.
After that you dunk and roll into your FC, then they should make some pins in ~1 week. A few days for those to mature followed by your methods of drying..
So about 1.75 months. You should be good to go! Of course, this assumes no hiccups.

I'm still a newb and only got 19 jars PF-tek fruited in my experience, but my hobbies are shroom growing and traveling, so I have put some thought into this question and can relate to your situation.
I would think you would be fine if you inoculated in a few days. If you had fast germination and fast growing in some jars it would put you 100% colonized a week or two before your trip and I would refrigerate the jars that were 100% colonized. If any hasn't finished colonization or just reached 100% colonization right at trip time then as you said, easy peasy, just let it consolidate for 1 week while your on your trip.
If you wait longer, you might have a slow germination and slow colonizer jar and maybe even a slow fruiter that might mean you haven't gotten much from your harvest by the end of August.
Haven't experienced refrigerating spawn jars yet, though it's just around the corner for me. Keep in mind, your refrigerator is full of contaminants, and refrigerators temp cycle up and down a slight bit which cause condensation. Though untested from anyone that I know of... I'm thinking of putting my spawn jars that are refrigerated in big ziploc bags to keep the air temp more constant and condensation & moisture level less toyed with by the temp swings of the frig. Some people have mentioned this might eliminate gas exchange, but people put petri's and slants sealed like this all the time in the frig. Anyway... enough of this sideway rant.. lol
Just this newbs 2 cents.
-------------------- A bit expensive but the largest clear tote I've found. Great if you want a large SGFC that can easily do both trays and cakes. If you decide to go all out on a SGFC, be sure to get coarse perlite. It keeps it cleaner and allows better FAE and humidity.

Cheers for the replies, I reckon i'll go for it and just keep my fingers crossed that they wont be in the FC and needing the occasional mist and fan by the time I go away.
