Question about pasteurizing coir mix

I've got some quarts of wbs that have been fully colonized, 2 days ago I pasteurized my coir verm and coffee ground mix via the pillowcase tek, I wasn't able to tend to it and spawn yet the pillow case is still hanging in the shower, do I have to pasteurize again now that I'm ready to spawn ? Also, how long would my fully colonized jars last on the shelf? They all look healthy and I've been shaking them every two days or so, If I don't have to pasteurize again I'd like to start filling my trays ASAP , any help greatly appreciated thanks

Coffee in a pasteurized sub almost guarantees a ride on the .
Ideally you just want to use coir and verm if your doing pasteurization.
I would recommend sterilizing in mycobags, if you are using coffee grounds.

Properly pasteurizing anything, even coffee grounds, will prevent contams. Coffee grounds can throw your pH off, but a little lime will fix that and you won't get contams.

Ive heard nothing but flames regarding coffee grounds in a pasteurized sub. I used them successfully in my mycobags, so its all ill recommend.

It just makes it a PITA because you have to buffer and preferably use a pH meter to not fuck it up.

What 36fuckin5 said is accurate. The reason people fail with coffee and the reason coir and trich are dear friends is the low ph. Low ph allows easy germination of the trich spores from your air. Raise the ph with lime and it will have a higher success rate.
As for the op... hanging for 2 days?? you bet your ass you need to pasteurize again. It'd be better to throw your grain in the trash then to breed all those contaminants.
The jar method is so much better than the pillowcase method because you can control moisture. with the pillowcase method you have to mess around trying to dry the subsrate. The post pasteurization, pre spawn handling is...not good
