The trich's on me. Or is it?

I've scoured the distant edges of the internet looking for information that might lead me to make a conclusion about one of my PF jars. Unfortunately, it appears that one jar might have trich. Or might it?
I don't have the ability to take photos at this point in time; the jars were inoculated on 6/7 with a MS syringe. They are all showing very strong growth, including our suspect, jar #11. They're about 75% colonized at this point, except for one stubborn spot in #11. The mycelium from the two neighboring injection points seems unaffected and are now almost touching. The suspect spot is extremely solid bright white, and has grown at approximately 1/3 the rate of the rest. (Despite using MS, they are all growing at a rather consistent pace!)
From what I understand, trich starts white but turns green; this has not happened. I marked all growth at Week 1 and then again today. It appears to have grown out 3/4-1cm in diameter at absolute most, where the marks on all the other jars show that the margins have extended by an 2-4cm. It hasn't changed in appearance at all, aside from the slight growth.
Has anyone else had trich that stayed white in the jar and showed no signs of affecting anything? Will the myc win? Is the trich on me, or not?
(I used the Kerr 1/2 pint jars, but the tall ones. PF tek, brf and verm, etc.)

Without seeing it I'm not even sure why you suspect it's mold. If it's any help though patches of mushroom mycelium usually merge together pretty seamlessly. In the case of mold you might notice a distinct border between where the mold is growing and the mushroom myc, like this.

It's not like that quite yet, but the myc from the other injection points hasn't grown fully to the edges of the suspected contam. The white spot looks a lot like the contam in your photo, only mine is about the size of a quarter. I think I'll know in a few days but I believe that the margin of the super-white spot will still be just as visible. The rest of the myc patches grew together 100% seamlessly, like you said.
I guess my main reason for suspecting mold is the fact that it looks distinctly different than any of the myc in that and any other jar...but my main reason for holding out hope is inconclusive evidence to suggest that my suspicions are correct. I think time will be the best test here!

I figured as much, but it was worth a shot. Appreciate the replies, though. I was thinking of making a separate "quarantine" terrarium for it (assuming it even colonizes 100%) in hopes of seeing some fruits without risking the other cakes. I'll post pictures if I can get any good ones; I need a higher-res camera than I have to get pictures that show any kind of detail.
