i prefer the bucket pasteurizing method...but how much water would be the amount to boil because i never really measured it out before.

the bucket tek isn't proper pasteurization, you should properly pasteurize. Looks up frank's tek for proper pasteurization and do it that way.
Also cubes don't benefit from a casing layer, if that is what you are growing.

yeah bro porer for sure! i'd hate to see you get that close to fruits and have it go to shits from a casing layer that wasn't necessary in the first place

im just adding it on top of a quart of wbs.( i know i shouldnt case wbs and i should spawn to bulk). i read somewhere that if you decide fruit the wbs by itself that you should add a casing layer for the wbs will dry out.

You really are wasting a golden opportunity to do a bulk spawn. It isn't much extra work. Use coir and buy a tub, it will cost $15 AT MOST.
If you MUST be impatient and newby, then case your colonized WBS, but don't expect much. AND DO A PROPER PASTEURIZATION. None of that bucket tek ballsweat.

No way around it if you want to avoid a green casing layer.
