Yes, it is possible for an LC to grow in a syringe.

So if i do a proportional karo/water mix in a syringe then what would be a good idea?

I'm not 100percent on this but I believe the filter on an lc jar is to prevent a vacuum from being created and to aid in the drawing of liquid into a syringe from the jar not for gas exchange. I know for a fact lc will grow in a syringe no problem there.
Goodluck with whatever you do.

:whathesaid:

LC does not need any GE to colonize.

When PCing an LC, you need a filter of some sort but only so there is not a vacuum in the jar when it is cooled.

But the LC itself needs no GE while colonizing.
