Steam sterilization

I don't own a PC yet and I want to make 5 more jars using PF Tek because my jars are almost fully colonized. Now last time my jars cracked, how can I prevent cracking what can I put the jars on top of so they don't touch the bottom of the pot?

a cloth, rings from your jar lids, anything to get them off the bottom

Use a plate or stack some lid rings under them.

Screw rinsing & cleaning out a tuna can to prop up some jars.
Just use lid rings or a plate or the like.
But I'm a lazy mo fo...
