Syringe or Grain to Grain

I've just spoken with a trusted cultivator and they told me to start doing grain to grain transfers once I've inoculated successfully on my new bulk method.
Rather than posting it in private and after not really seeing anything too promising from my search efforts, I'd like to place my question here so that others may benefit from it if possible: are there any benefits from grain to grain transfers instead of using prints to make spore syringes? Money is negligible.

Do you mean a Grain Liquid Culture as opposed to making spore syringes? Because for one an advantage of doing a g2g transfer is that you've already cultured mycellium FROM spores. If you were to inject sterile water into a jar that was 100% colonized and then suck it back out, you'd have a grain LC, and I hear those are great, but have not tried this method myself yet.

I believe the fact that you already have mycelium growth started with G2G transfers makes the process more efficient. Syringe inoculation you will have to wait a bit for the growth to start.

Grain to Grains are used to expand your clean spawn & cultures. If you're doing MS inoculation, I'd inoculate 6 jars with 1cc of MS solution. Take the quickest colonizing one & G2G that to 10 more.
GLCs aren't as shitty as LCs, but they still suck. They take more time, have more room for error (contams to come in), and have extra steps vs. Grain to Grains.
I can't remember the last time I touched a syringe. MS-->agar-->isolate-->master grain jar-->G2G-->G2G-->G2G-->spawn.

Yes. Grain to grain transfers are many times faster than starting over from spores. RR

I see.. I'm a bit worried about grain to grain transfers (not grain LC) since I don't have a flow hood or a still air box :/
