Liquid Culture Question - White Growth On Surface

Hey everyone, I come to you with another question.
Alright, so far myself and my partner have made a few successful liquid cultures and have so far not encountered this one.
Upon close inspection we have found a few small circular patches of pure white growing on the surface of our honey water.
Research has revealed that liquid cultures can colonize the surface and appear similar in nature to agar cultures. I would post pictures, but the size/shape of the jar and the position of the spot in question makes it damn near impossible.
Really, I know there is only one way to know for sure or not...
I'm not really sure what to think. Cobweb, yeast, mycelium? Anybody?

probly a lack of stirring, stirring aerates the water giving the mycelium a chance to exchange gasses so when you stop stirring it just finds it's way to the surface to do it

Mine do that if I don't shake them often enough. I just give em a good shake and haven't had an issues with it.

Shake it & test it.

Could be a stamenosicests infection. Caution advised. Maintain this speed and heading unless you observe a monster growing out onto the tray. If that happens call a Hollywood movie producer.

Growth on the surface often indicates contam in a LC
but there is NO way to know if your LC is contamed for sure, except sometimes it is obvious if it doesn't look like a clump of white mycellium
Knock up a jar to test it if you are unsure, or post a pic
