No colonization in 9/10 pftek jars

So I started my first batch or cubes(costa rica) and I inoculated a little over two weeks ago, and I have gotten no growth in any of my jars save one, where there is only two spots of colonization but they are very small. I'm not sure what I did, or if it was even me, since none of the jars seem to have contams either. I'm using self healing lids with a two layered (one inside and one outside) tyvek GE hole.
Any help would be appreciated, I'm at a loss and trying to decide if I should start anew with another strain.
Left is the one that has colonized some.

How did you prep and sterilize the jars? Were they field capacity with regards to wetness?

How long did you let the jars cool before inoculation

What temperature is the room they are kept in during the hottest part of the day? Do you have a thermometer next to the jars? If not, you might get one, especially the digital kind that records daily highs and lows if you're not there to monitor it.

I used 2parts verm, 1part water, 1 part brf. And I racked them in a pot with water not up to the jars, and held the water at a boil for 2 hours with the lid on.

I let them sit overnight. Before I took them out of the pot.

It's a bit cold I know, highs probably 72 and lows of 66 or so. I keep them on a bookshelf in my room.

Idk unless you didn't shake up the syringe maybe. Those spores settle really fast

My first jars didnt colonize well either, but my second attempt was exellent I did 3 things different.
1. made my cakes a little on the dry side by using slighty heaping rather than level cups of verm
2. didn't retape holes after innoculating
3. shook syringe real good after each jar, and made sure i felt the needle tip hit the inside of the glass everytime.
hope that helps

its possible that they just stalled,it happens from time to time also it could be contaminated but it doesn't look like it is so just let it sit and do its thing.

Interesting.. I might agree with kinkaku, only if he is right though.. lol. Was it the same syringe with each batch? From the same vendor (don't tell us who; against the rules)?

I did 10 jars with ~1cc in each jar, all from the same syringe, and all my syringes came from the same vendor. I was hoping that my first go would be well on its way at this point, but I'm just at a loss of what to do right now.

2 layers of tyvek seems a bit excessive it might hinder gas exchange but it shouldnt stop growth from starting.
Maybe its just a poor syringe, it happens from time to time even with the best of vendors.
i had some WBS jars that failed to do anything when working from an old print. but it was only something like 4 out of 20 jars. I use just a squirt of solution so get upto 20 grain jars out of 1 syringe.
