I have about 5 Brazilian BRF jars that have this dark grey stuff in them. Pretty sure its a contam but just want to double check before I dump them. The jars were inoculated 2 weeks ago.

I also have 5 GT jars which all have a yellow/orange contam in them (I believe its the bacterial contam from the "what it should / should not look like" thread)

That seems like baby mycelium just starting off. Mine looked kind of grey fuzzy shit too until it finally grew rhizo's. Don't take my word for it tho. Just my opinion.

Dispose of the yellow shit with care.
(aka don't open jars in grow area do it outside )
but i would watch those other ones for a few days and see if that develops into a whitish mycelium , it tends to start out rather weak and in result you can see the substrate would give it a greyish appearance. that very well could be the start of mycelium

Ok, thats good news. But I live in an apartment with no balcony so how do I dispose of the yellow shit in that case? Boil the jars first?

If you want to kill the bacteria, open add water, close, and boil for 20 minutes. Then dump into trash

if its bacteria there is no spores so opening it or keeping it closed wont make a difference but id still keep it closed either way.
although I cant really see it but that doesn't really look like bacteria,it cold be yellow mold

Well thats the thing, it doesn't really look like anything is growing. Those yellow patches have been there for a couple days and havent really been expanding or anything. It just looks like the substrate at the inoculation point is discolored that yellow color.
I have some other jars where something similar is happening (discoloration of the substrate) but mycelium is continuing to grow in that same spot.
