It's hard to tell what's wrong just by looking at pictures....
What type of sub is it? What did you use to inoculate?
Is it not fully colonized?
If so, you probably have a contam. Whenever pinning occurs on a partially colonized sub that's a good indicator of contams because the mycelium is trying to pop some fruits out before the contam takes over.
Also, I have no experience with bags so I could be wrong but... fruiting requires FAE. How do you expect a decent grow keeping it inside the bag? shouldn't that bag be opened up and put in an FC?

its the mad seasons famous sub bag. i used a MS treasure coast syringe and yes it does have a filter patch.
it really didnt look fully colonized to me. i havnt done anything extra to it either.
if you believe its contaminated then i need to remove it from the same closet my tub is in.

Hmm, if it looks fully colonized then I don't see what the problem is. You just need FAE. Open it up outside and give it a smell. If it smells like anything other than fresh mushrooms then toss it. If it's fine then put it in the FC.
Like I said, I've never used bags but I don't see how those mushrooms can grow properly without adequate FAE.

Do you not have a fruiting chamber? Filter patches are only good for gas exchange during colonization. You're probably gonna get really bad FAE trying to fruit directly in the bag. I would suggest cutting the top completely off and putting it in your fruiting chamber.

Most definitely not. I'm sorry but that's not a reliable site. What you're seeing in the bag is pinning and it's just that. You need to open up the top of the bag and set it in a FC.

That spawn bag looks awful too, mine is from midwestgrowkits

Nothings wrong with his bag. yes you can fruit fine and well in a Myco-bag. Doesn't matter if you make it yourself or if your lazy enough to order them.

Heres someone in a similar situation a bit farther along. just a bit of reading that may be applicable to you.
Just cut open the top and let the fresh air in!
maybe add some vermiculite as our friend has in the above thread
but if you know how to treat your cubes right (which is simple, just requires experience when it all comes down to it) you really don't need a "casing"

I would suggest to cut the top of the bag and use it as a humidity tent. For best results you'll have to fan and mist quite often though... I'd say 3-4 times per day. The casing isn't a necessity.
However i'd suggest you built yourself a small fruiting chamber, even with a properly built SGFC you can save yourself quite some hassle.
Good luck with your fruiting my friend.

Yeah pretty sure what I've read from people that fruit inside bags, is they will fold it and paperclip it shut after they bust it open. and then fan and mist as usual

Because a tub has polyfilled holes to give it some air exchange. The mushrooms fruit faster and more prolifically if you provide them with an air exchange, while maintaining good humidity.
Some tweaks like wax paper can be considered but never tried it myself so you'll have to ask a trusted cultivator.

Yo you need to delete that link to the sponsor you got it from and edit all your posts that mention the sponsor name. All the sponsors do not condone growing active mushrooms using their products. Spores are for microscopy only and supplies are for edibles. You can potentially get them in trouble by showing that you are cultivating actives.
Edit that shit son please and thanks

That applies to psilocybin spore vendors since spores are intended for microscopic use. As far as I know, none of our sponsors sell bags AND psilocybin spores.

You can just fill it with water and let it sit for a few hours to dunk. Then drain off the water and proceed.
PS
PS I like the way you spelled out "Mad Season" with the shrooms, too.

You can expect to retain about 8-10% weight when dry for cubensis.
So 117g would come out to roughly 11.7g when cracker dry

thats not bad at all considering i threw it up into the closet and forgot all about it. i really think the poly and that 6500k light helped. along with fanning 3x a day.
after i dunk im gonna tape up the sides and the top.
im a little confused though. dunk for 20 minutes or 2 hours?
