The following was found by an archeologist in 1884 in salt mine in India:
6/27 injected 12 jars of Equadorian. 6/29 injected 12 more jars of Equadorian. 6/31 injected 16 jars of Equadorian.
Used ratio of 2:1:1 Verm, BRF, H2O.
Waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, then
3 weeks on the money the first batch was completely colonized, then two days later, then two days later like clockwork. Lost 4 jars to contams from second batch.
Birthed then waited one more week while little white balls formed on sides, then cold-shocked and dunked on 7/26.
Then waited, and waited, and waited, FOREVER!
First pins finally showed and sprouted on 8/8. Left town on 8/13 and returned 8/17 to find the spore dump. Myc growing on stalk. Lowered humidity by about 5% by adding another 1/2 inch of dry Perlite on top of wet layer.
Second batch (one with contams) failed completely.
Third Batch is what you see in the bottom foto with all the little aborts. The bigger ones (and all aborts) were cropped on 8/20.
Currently awaiting second flush.
Incubators consist of 1" thick large white foam coolers with plexiglass lids. 1/2" of Perlite. Verm is medium for batch 1 and 3, and fine for batch 2. Hmmmm, something to that part. 1/2" of Perlite added two weeks after birthing to lower humidity.

Those fruits look great, decent setup too! They are defineitly mature, still good to eat though mind you. But that picture accurately depicts the stage of shroom growth that you want to AVOID, remember to pick them when the veil just begins to tear, or when the caps have opened but have not fully umbrella'd out. I understand the circumstances though. Enjoy those bad boys.

You should see the hideous mess left in my pod after a couple of them buggers dumped their spores all over the place. One of my cakes is this deep purple colour. Spores on the perlite, spores on the pod walls, and I'm pretty sure it's the spores that cause my hygrometer to read 2L.H, instead of 28.8 (temp C).

My friend had to be out of town for four days and was bummed as he was leaving cause he knew what would happen. He took a spore print off of the plastic base though and can't wait to try it out.
Equadorians are definitely the easiest to grow. The friend says that all the other four strains have to be coaxed and take forever. Mazzies, TC, and GT. He hasn't tried PR's yet though. His next project is to try casing. He said he'd let me know when his grow log is done.
He also mentioned that he is on an antidepressant called Lexapro. He didn't think the mushies (he took the one that matured and dumped its spores) would get him off. When he took 2.5 grams he felt it in 10 minutes and by 1 hour was peaking. The trip only lasted 3 hours though and he says that it was perfect for a Monday night trip. He hadn't tripped in about 8 years and he says he had a blast.
I'll pass on the advice and compliments to him. He wants to wish all of you happy trips.
