Howdy
These jars are almost finished colonizing but I've noticed what might be mold on three of the most progressed jars.

Lemme know what you think!

Maybe just squished pinners? Kinda hard to tell. Just keep an eye on it & you will know fairly shortly. Also, maybe do the smell test?

I have a similar question. I got 3 pf tek jars and one of them shows yellowish spots. Now i've read that the general rule is: If it's white, it's alright, but i just read about something called mycelium piss? Could someone give their expert opinion please !
thanks in advance

Mycelium piss is just metabolites, it's normal. Your jars look fine.

It's not that harmful to take the lid off when the jar is (allmost) fully colonized. Al least not if you open it for a second to take a whiff (and a picture in this case ). I'm glad i didn't throw the jar away. I'm now waiting for primordia to show up in 2 jars, 1 is already sitting in fc after dunking and casing. Experimenting what works best for me
Thanks for the answers!
