Sub-Cool's super soil is too hot for most indoor garden setups and cannabis strains anyway. Definitely would be Sub-Par for mushies.
As was previously mentioned, for that same $100 you could get a truckload or more of Hpoo delivered. Grow way more mushies with that, than a bucket of "super" soil.
Peace

Coir and verm is all you need, but coir can be pricey. I supplement my cakes with humus and manure from home depot. My football sized cakes cost about a dollar apiece to make.

I pay like 1.20/brick...
Quote:
cronicr said: 8 large bags of a high-quality organic potting soil with coco fiber and mycorrhizae (i.e., your base soil) 25 to 50 lbs of organic worm castings 5 lbs steamed bone meal 5 lbs Bloom bat guano 5 lbs blood meal 3 lbs rock phosphate ¾ cup Epson salts ½ cup sweet lime (dolomite) ½ cup azomite (trace elements) 2 tbsp powdered humic acid thats the recipe
Not going to be feeding that to any of my mycelium anytime soon
It was worth a thought OP. The problem is that a lot of those, like the bone mea; and blood meal and epsom salts, are going to make your substrate rather inhospitable to the myc you want.
