Is this is a supicous package?

A domestic US priority flat rate envelope. A hard big bulge in the middle of it, containing something hard and plastic (an ipod holder) - I think this is the only relatively suspicious part. Even then, it's not even too huge of a bulge I don't think. But it's definitly like you know something is in the middle not spread throughout the whole thing. Ya know?
Aside from that, the label/stamp thing is printed off the internet from the offical USPS site with a barcode from one person to another. Both addresses and names are real (Return address is a PO box though). Shipping label is standardized, and with 10 digit area codes automatically for ease of delivery.
There are no noticeable scents coming from the package or anything like that. The outside of it all looks normal and "clean" aside from some wrinkles in it because of the ipod holder causing the slight bulge in the middle. The bar code is still flat and scannable.
The USPS address label/stamp thing does have a decent bit of tape around the border of it, so it doesn't fall off - because it's not a sticker but rather was printed off a computer. But that's normal and expected right? The tape isn't messy or anything it's just a few layers around the border of the label. The tape is not covering the bar code, or the seams of the envelope or anything like that.
There is one single tiny smidge of tape on one of the top corners of the envelope where is was very wide open.
So the tape isn't too crazy really. Seems relatively normal and expected. It's domestic. Real addresses offical USPS printed label, priority envelope.
Are all "flate rate" envelopes actually... flat? I know that refers to the price thing. USPS says "whatever you could fit inside." Well, this could fit inside it's just a little bit bulgy and some wrinkles from the bulge area. Are these sorts of envelopes used with bulgy things normally? The reason I ask is because one of the criteria for suspicious packages if uneven or lopsided packaging. But would it be different with priority envelopes?
It looks pretty normal I guess to the untrained eye. Am I just being paranoid? Would anybody think twice about this?

At least in the past, flat rate envelopes were good for whatever you could fit inside and still seal the envelope fully with the adhesive strip. I don't know if things have changed since, but that's how it used to be.
Your package doesn't seem to meet any of the common drug package criteria other than it being a person to person shipment. But then again, the criteria I've seen cited often includes stupid crap like "sent from a drug origin state" (California) and stuff like that, so it depends.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's how it still is. It says that on the USPS website and I think I've received packages like that I'm not too sure.
Perhaps I'm just paranoid.

Flat rate envelopes are supposed to lay flat.
They're basically supposed to be for paper.
Better to use a little flat-rate box.

Worse case scenario is that the package will attract their attention and they will pay attention to it as they scan it through the x-ray machine.
If the package still captivates their attention they will flag it and have it sent to a separate area where they will use forensic methods to open it and obtain/ collect as much evidence as possible to secure a case against whoever sent illegally that substance through the US postal service.
Because this probably involves drugs or drug type paraphernalia crossing State lines it will involve, State and Federal agencies. Possibly including homeland security as well.

Once they track which postal outlet the package was sent from they will probably search the security camera files and through their use of face identification software, they will immediately know the identity of who mailed the illegal package.
Once they have this information they will gather this information they will probably put your house or apartment under surveillance. With the advancement in recent years in drone airplanes they will probably use various infrared technologies to scan your residence and compile a criminal profile of your activities.
Then, at some point when you lease expect it, probably at about 5:15 a.m on a Sunday morning an armada of heavily armed tactical officers will storm your home, kick in your door and terrorize your home while they drag your sorry ass out of your home.

All your neighbors will also be woken probably due in part to the large military helicopter which will be hovering over that location as well.

Next you will be taken to the police station for both interrogation and incarceration.

or
Your package will be not be noticed and will reach it's destination with no problems at all.

i recently used a flat rate envelope to mail a dried rabbit pelt sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard, and man that thing 'barely' fit into that flat rate envelope, i had to tape the edges shut a bit so the little pieces of salt and cornmeal on the pelt didnt spill all over the place, and it made it through fine.
