possible loophole in law?

Okay so i had a thought recently. This involved the indirect sale of shrooms. It would probably work for any drug as long as u dont leave finger prints or get caught leaving it. It seems like in order to circumvent the law, or even just to otect yourself from it, you could sell not the mushrooms themselves, but a tip on a location where you know & have seen them growing naturally. Ex. Well, i dont have any shrooms, but i was walking on a trail in the woods near xxxxx road & saw some growing there. For $x ill tell you the location.
Would this still be considered sellling drugs? I mean technically Your selling a hint as to the location of a drug but never actually are in posession of it & its naturally growing so the buyers only risk would be after they pick them.
I dont plan on actually doing this. Its just an idea i hhad one day out of the blue But if someone were in troublw for selling mushrooms this may hold up in court lol.

This thread was moved from Mushroom Hunting and Identification.
Reason: Fits better here.

The thing most people don't consider is....you don't have to be guilty of anything to get busted, charged, harasses, arrested, jailed, by the police all you have to do is attract their attention that you are not being a good well behaved human.
Ok lets take this senereo.....you have an undercover narcotic officer come up to you and say "Hey I heard you are selling magic mushrooms " and you reply;
"Yes give me $100 and I will tell you where you can go and pick them in the forest over behind my house."
Once the narcotics officer gives you the $100 and goes and finds the mushrooms, he than comes back and pays you a visit by kicking in your house door at 6.am. on a Sunday morning and drags your sorry ass out of bed at gunpoint and throws your ass in a jail cell.
You next go in front of a judge and get bail with a whole lot of conditions ..attached to your tether of freedom.
So next you hire a lawyer and pay him about Five Thousand dollars to defend you at your criminal trial to which eventually, if you are lucky, the charges are dismissed.
So, in the end as you stand in the parking lot of the criminal court patting yourself on the back at how you beat the legal system , ask yourself this question...
Did you really win?

No, especially since you would probably be standing in the parking lot complaining about being convicted of distribution of a controlled substance.
A lot of drug defendants which are found guilty are never caught with any drugs.

I understand pretty well cops are/can be assholes for no reason. Ive had my fair share of run ins with the law ive just been lucky so far & the language seems alittle harsh in that paragraph. Maybe next time change your man-pon before you get on shroomery. Its not like i said hey i got the perfect business model or hey try this.

ALl and all ....there is risk in everything.....it is all part of life.
Just driving to the store could get you killed in an auto accident.
Part of the thrill of life ....is living and taking risks ...playing the odds.....having fun...exploring .....expanding ones minds awareness.
Fear is more in the mind.
all I was trying to point out....is that ...avoid confrontation with the law as much as you can.... I would rather go out and fuck a blonde with big tits....than spend time in jail ...over trying to figure out how to step in shit and not get any on my shoe
