OP states a personal risk, and that far outweighs giving colonizing cakes light when they dont need it. Whats the hurry to trigger pinning when you're still trying to colonize your cakes anyways?

From what I have read light does help colonization but its not Going to hinder your progress.
Don't risk it.

I'm using a SGFC so i have noe advice for you with your fruiting chamber. But it seems like you're doing good so far, the mushroom is just a fungus just like marijuana is just a plant, grow it if you want, but maake sure you know what will happen is you get caught, which will most likely not happen, but im not saying for you to grow them for that reason. Enjoy the growth of the mushrooms and the life cycle they go through, and then enjoy eating them later which you most likely are growing them for .

I'm the only one in the house, but all my friends always come over to my house and I can not risk them seeing and opening their mouths

Light is not a main pinning trigger, ambient light has been proven to be beneficial during all stages. A healthy substrate will only pin when it is fully colonized.

Low-level ambient light during colonization speeds up the process. It's not about pinning. Light is a direct or indirect(or both) source of energy for fungi. RR
