-My Challenge To You- The Community
Hello Shroomery community!
I bring to you all, a wonderful challenge. Now please forgive me for I cannot back my claims with any photo evidence at the time...
But in time I promise to provide photo evidence of everything.
I was recently using a terrible flip phone and didn't have any means to any sort of good camera during my first grow experiences.
I finally have an amazing camera now and I plan to take pictures and provide progress on everything.

======================================================================= I would also like to test the results of this with my grain as well. So tonight and from now on, I will be preparing separate jars. One set of jars will contain WBF and Gypsum. One set of jars will contain WBF, Gypsum, and this nitrogen fertilizer. I will be using multi-spore as well as isolates to compare results.

=======================================================================
-Through many controlled experiments of mine, I used four different cultures in two different Monotubs and also added the use of nitrogen fertilizer sticks. (With multiple trials)

One monotub (Tub A's) contained just peat,perlite,verm starter mix with coco coir and gypsum.
The other (Tub B's) contained peat,perlite,verm starter mix with coco coir, gypsum and nitrogen.
<Starter mix
-Through my observations and studies I've come across a pretty interesting discovery.
Tub B's, the ones that contained the nitrogen, were fruiting in-between 1-2 weeks before Tub A's.
ALSO, after I harvested Tub B's, I would soak them for 18h (a procedure I apply to all of my casings/tubs/cakes) and by the time I checked back on them 12h-18h later, it would already be pinning again.
Tub A's would take 18h to soak, and then for at least another 18h I wouldn't see any signs of pin heads.
Tub B's would be covered in about .5’-1’ of pinheads across the casing/bulk substrate. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
=======================================================================
Of course this could be due to a variety of different reasons..Maybe I just got lucky..Maybe its the genetics.. Maybe this..Maybe that..

-Unless someone can give a very good explanation with multiple links and facts that state otherwise-:)
The point of this is to observe an experiment with multiple different cultures to see which ones it benefits and which ones it doesn't. As well as to provide photo evidence of the grows.
If there are any benefits at all.

=======================================================================
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you intend to try this experiment as well, be sure to grind the nitrogen fertilizer up an and add it to you substrate before you pasteurize it. Pasteurize it, then mix up all your grains with your bulk sub. Stir it up real good and record your results.
=======================================================================
-You Must Use this Exact Fertilizer-
I promise it's not going to hurt you. That much I can guarantee.
You can typically find them in the gardening section of Wal-Mart.
=======================================================================
-Please share your results as well-
The purpose of this experiment is to see if we can potentially hasten our fruiting process with the introducing of this fertilizer.
As I'm sure we do not all use/have the same cultures.
I am very interested in seeing different people's results. I'm sure other people would be very interested in seeing these results as well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This experiment was only preformed with 4 cultures:
Treasure Coast, Golden Teacher, B+(crap culture IMO) and PES Hawaiian.
I do not know if you will have the same results with other cultures or even with these listed cultures. But, from my research It worked with all 4 of these cultures. I tested it multiple times.
I intend to eventually use this different tek with multiple different cultures to test the validity behind this experiment.
Gl if you choose to partake in this challenge.
-I will re-conduct this experiment with 4 new cultures and one of the previous cultures and provide pictures to show the proof, if any.
Strain isolations and multi-spores will both be used and labeled in all of these experiments.
Hope everything turns out great!
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Please only partake in the challenge if you are willing to risk losing some goodies to failed results.
I cannot guarantee that everything will work out as well as things have worked out for me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
=======================================================================
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am getting together 20 tubs so I can preform a variety of trials again with these new cultures. And also I will provide photos throughout this whole experiment.
My updates will should be within the week. Take care!
