 Wonder if I'll sleep tonight...

Ever since getting what seemed like a little virus or something about ten days ago, which took my voice away for a day, I've had trouble sleeping, but the last few nights have been the worst. Like maybe 1 hour uninterupted last night, a bit more the night before, and I'm really not tired right now. Kinda weird, I'd think I'd be exhausted by this point, but no such luck. What to do, what to do...I don't have any sleep aids in the house, and just change until payday so no money for some, maybe a few bongers will help although they haven't the last few nights. What do you guys think - How do we get me to sleep tonight?!?!

Take a hot bath (or spa if you got one) 1-2 hours before going to sleep. Your body cooling from the warm temperature is a mental sign of sleep or something like that...
Might as well toke up while soaking for the hell of it too!

That's a thought, both the bath and toking..so weird, just rolling around for hours, it really sucks...and really weird that I'm not tired.

You could also try some meditation, I'll usually be able to just crash after a nice night session right before bed.

Hmmm, meditating sounds like a good idea, I've been meaning to get into that anyway, looked up some info on a couple of sites...especially since I'm out of beer 'til payday...damn, I envy the Belgians, I'd be in the pubs there every free moment, I love their brews sooo much (and the Brits do some great ones too, of course...Samuel Smith comes to mind, haven't had one of the oatmeal stouts in years, damn it).

I dunno if it's the same for everyone, but whenever I fall asleep after smoking, it's always a crappy kind of sleep with random wake ups and a general discomfort(sp?) to it
I say go for a jog

just put on some relaxing music.. take some benadryl(sp?) and toke till you pass out

Well, didn't have much success last night, tossed and turned, just like my mind wouldn't let me fall asleep for some reason. Not really tired, though, even though it's maybe 5 hours totqal sleep in the last three nights.

The only other suggestion I have is to be really active today. Go jogging, do situps, run some errands, walk the city, clean the house, go jogging again, make a grand dinner, clean up the dinner mess, and then hopefully you'll just be too tired to even think about not falling alseep...

Yeah, let's see what happens tonight...i wonder how long this thread can go on...do I get a free syringe of Blue Meanies if I stay up for a week?
I was doing bong hits at like 1:30 in the morning last night, even that didn't help...well, I guess it helped, but didn't make me tired. Maybe someone will write a shroomery lullaby to help me sleep...

Well, as long as you're high the whole time, sleep deprivation won't be that bad...

I know it's strange, but I excercise a few minutes before bed and always sleep great. If I smoke pot before bed I always have horrible nightmares.

Well, knodded off sometime after 3:00 last night, I was tired as hell when I went to bed, but as soon as I lie down I get very anxious, really weird, like a stimulant is suddenly released into my system...so I got maybe three hours last night, the best in about 4 nights...so that gives me about10 hours sleep the last four nights.

Whenever I can't sleep (which is often) I usually just try to sleep in different places.. on my floor,on my couch, on another couch, somewhere else on the floor. it worked for like a week.
Wow. I just realised something. The more I smoke the less I can sleep. Maybe that damn reefer is the problem.

Well, here I am again. it was payday today so I was able to get some sleeping pills, I took two, lets see if they don't work. Got about 3 hours or so last night in the wee hours, still not really tired, pretty odd...I'd think I'd be struggling to stay awake. Smoking immediately before going to bed can actually keep you up for a while, I think.
