Chlorophyllum rhacodes

Despite the dry weather over the last several days I decided to take a little walk through a local park to see what I might find.
I found only a single specimen but at least it was an interesting one. After many encounters with C. molybdites down here in south Florida, when I spotted this little white cap sticking up in some leaf litter along side a wooded area I figured that was what I had found. Upon closer inspection I realized that this was a bit different the the C. molybdites that I always find down here. The cap was much scalier, the margin more jagged, the ring more defined, the color slightly different and the gills showed no hint of green.
Could it be? C. rhacodes? I've personally never found one this far South before today. It's no behemoth, probably due to the arid climate the last few days, but I think it's the real deal

Note the immediate red bruising where the stem was cut

It's printing now, hopefully I'll get one. Has anybody ever successfully cultivated C. rhacodes from spores?

As you probably know, C. rhacodes used to be Lepiota rhacodes.

I didn't post this as an ID request but would like the assurance of a TI that this isn't somehow a lookalike that I am unaware of. Assuming a white print, I don't know of any other mushroom it could be, just want to be 100% sure that I'm not missing something before drying and putting it up

I agree with your ID of C. rhacodes. I can't answer your cultivation questions.

Thanks. Yeah, I did some research regarding cultivation. It sounds difficult at best. I might throw some spores on agar just to see what happens. If I can get it to inoculate some medium I think it would grow fairly easily. Edibles are so hard to come by down here that I'm considering growing them
