Using two blowers in flowhood?

I'm in the middle of designing a 2' x 4' flowhood, I've already acquired my HEPA filter, now I'm looking to find a matching blower.
From my calculations I need a blower capable of 930 - 960 CFM @ 0.000" SP,
My question is, would two blowers, both rated at 465 CFM @ 0.00" SP create more turbulence than just one blower that fits my requirements?
The reason I ask is because I'm on a limited budget, and buying two lesser rated blowers is cheaper than buying a higher rated one.

Your filter has no resistance? I think you have the wrong specs or wrong filter.

The initial resistance of the filter is 0.4" WG @ 100 FPM, with a final resistance of 1" W.G., it will be blowing at a 90° angle into the plenum.
The reason for my worry is because I've seen some posts (albeit mixed reviews) opposing the use of fans vs blowers, due to their turbulence. As long as I have an adequate plenum to build SP, coupled along with the resistance of my HEPA filter, do I have nothing to worry about as far as turbulence going into the unit?

After doing a bit of research on HVAC systems I've learned that pairing fans will only increase the power to overcome resistance, but still move the same volume of air.
I apologize for not researching my question more before posting, but if anyone has had the thought of increasing airflow by adding another fan, just know that it will not work.
I'm just going to cough up the extra money for a properly rated blower.
