Career wise he has some good accomplishments and some stupid shit. When he let his mouth get him kicked off the Marlins, he was one inning away from a $50,000 bonus.

It doesn't look like his career is over. He is saying that he may return this year as it's not a torn labrum but rather a frayed labrum. If he retires he will go down as my fourth favorite pitcher of all time after Smoltz, Maddux, and Glavine.

He's a true class act. After being one of the best pitchers of our generation, picthing a perfect game AND only the second post season No-No while pitching here in Philly, he apologizes, like he needs too.
And I just can't see him returning and being any good. As a Phils fan, I'm praying I'm wrong, but I really think he's gonna call ti quits after this season. The Phillies aren't going to exercise his option to bring him back in 2014. Others teams may be falling over each other to have him play for them, but I'm not sure he'll want to. He may not want to pack it all up again, move with his family, and try to resurrect his career.

Well they know they signed up for a nomadic existence when they became professional athletes, all of them. Andy Pettitte's family lives in Texas. I think they always have. They have to adjust to Daddy being away for a big part of the year. For much of my young life my father was away on a ship.
I will be surprised if he just packs it in.

ESPN has made up a tourney for the best uniforms. They're seeded from 1-15. So who has the best uniforms in the majors?

I cannot think of who best away uniform is. Or who has a cool looking throw back jersey.
My Indians are playing the Phillies today. Hoping they get a win.

Miguel Cabrera may go down as one of the greatest hitters of ALL-TIME. He's on pace right now with some of the greatest legends to ever put on Major League uniforms. Triple Crown last year and is blowing away the comp in average and RBIs so far, and is in the thick of the HR race.

I'm so glad he doesn't play in the NL East anymore. If he did, I bet he would have ben traded to Toronto too. Ughh, Miami...

Angel Pagan hit a game winning inside the park home run in the 10th inning yesterday, so fucking sick. This was after 2 terrible calls made by the umps throughout the game, calling runners out who were clearly safe. I guess you could say justice was served

Anybody else think Matt Kemp was juicing? I know he had that shoulder injury but everyone says hes fine now and he thinks his shoulder is fine. I'm just saying cuz hes lost a lot of power and this started happening before he got the injury. I think when Melky got caught and all these players started getting suspended he probably quit.

Yes, fucking face palm. Every time somebody has a change in production from year to year some jackass either posits that he's juicing or that he's stopped juicing. They aren't machines. Sometimes the suspicion is warranted but I don't see it here

dude I'm a dodger fan and I would hate to see any of my favorite players doing PEDs but I feel like the evidence is there. He's hitting .260 with 17rbi and 7sb those are all numbers above the league average which goes to show hes playing well. Its just that hes known to be homerun hitter and he only has 2 which is why so many are frustrated. He would probably have a much higher average too if he wasn't flying out so much. I dunno how many times Ive seen him hit a ball really hard into the outfield and fly out. Hes trying to hit those homers but the power isn't there. Also, hitting power comes from the legs and the core not the shoulders. I dunno why, I just get a huge feeling he was doing them.

A decline in production is not de facto evidence of steroids. You're just pissed because you're a Dodger fan and you picked him first, which was fucking dumb anyway.
