depends how they're grown. 8 grams? was that fresh or dry?
for the most part P.Cubensis mushrooms are pretty much the same. The method of cultivation and drying are the two factors that most influence potency.
I grew Malabars (actually my 3rd strain grown) theyr were as potent as my other grows, I like the asthetic quality of the malabars with they're "stubborn" veils.

yes, when making prints. Use a knife to gently tear the veil away, if you do it right, you'll get the veil in one piece by tearing off from the edge of the cap.Remember that this is a feature of this particular strain, so don't let them mature too much.

Malabars are an excellent strain. The printing aspect I can totally agree with, they can be tricky at times. Poor spore production is just a trait of this strain.
You will be pleased with them, they can grow quite large, and from what I hear, can be on the potent side.

Malabars are fantastic! I don't know what that dude is talking about... it's maybe the best strain I have experimented with and I've dealt with over 15 other strains.

malabars are my favorite strain by far.. they are the prettiest and the potency is heroic.

yea some people tend to exagerate. i tripped with a buddy of mine who i gave 3 dried grams and he said that he couldn't feel it. he said this in between losing his way around his own house, talking about how there was an earthquake causing the pans to rattle, among other trip symptoms. other ppl say college algebra is hard. don't take them literally and find out for yourself

> other ppl say college algebra is hard
I don't think they taught algebra at my college... From what I remember, if you couldn't pass the math entrance exam, they wouldn't let you in. Algebra would have been an easy grade to balance out the not so good advanced calc grade.
Where did Malabar come from originally, does anybody know?
