newbie growing: so far so good?

ok hello shroomy community ive inoculated 2 pots with mazatatec psilocybe cubensis, on the saturday 4th of may. on tuesday i started seeing activity on one of the pots, and the other i saw activity the next day. one jar is diffidently doing better than the other, why? ive kept them in a box, with a cut up bottle filled with water and a aquarium heater at 64 degrees. whats your opinions on this? judging on the small size of toughs pots how many grams of mushrooms should i be able to get? im using the Pf-tek. how long more should these pots be fully colonised? and has anyone tried this type of cubensis, any reviews or any thing to say about it, while its growing and taking them? thanks what do you think so far?

If you have a dry Verm layer you can remove the tinfoil it should help speed up colonization.
You want higher temps then 64. For me 80 has been perfect but at least try and shoot for the mid 70's.
Make sure that bottle is sealed with some salt in it standing water invites contams.
Colonization time can vary allot with Ms injections Your harvest will very it could be 2 g's a cake it could be 6

first question. is your house colder than 64 degees? if not then lose the heater set up. the jars look fine. there are lots of reasons why different growth rates could be occuring; random genetics, variable moisture, etc. also, note that even in this stage the myc benefits from a bit of diffuse light. how much will you get? enuff for you and a friend to get exceedingly high several times

growing at 64 is no problem, takes a little longer and fruits are shorter and denser.

mazatapec 10-12+ days takes bit longer to colonize comparing to GT or Keepers Creeper (5-6 days)
put at least 28C/82F

that seems anecdotal. those dont sound like average colonization times because it varies. did you mean for YOU 12+ days?

mazatapec was rather slower strain, comparing to GT or KC

look at my log, for my g2g's they colonized within 5 days. once i spawned jars to my tubs, these tubs all were colonized within 5-6 days. as far as tub colonization it was much faster than my gt. but we all no MS is random as hell.

Like others have said ditch the foil they need to breathe. You don't really need the heater either but to each their own, imo they would probably do better on a shelf in a well lit room

The foil is not stopping them from "breathing", they will still get fine GE.
But leaving the foil on will contribute to the moistening of the dry verm layer, which is not a good thing.
Remove the foil.

4. Do not bump your own thread for at least 24 hours. It's not fair to the other posters to have your thread constantly bumped to the top. Violators will have their thread deleted.
We gave you a tip, to take the foil off....you disregarded this, but you would like more tips?
Give the cakes 1 full week after they trun 100% white, then birth, dunk and roll.
Always give them a full week after 100% for consolidation.

you were not suppose to mix the verm and perlite just use the perlite, what you got there is counterproductive, they should also be sitting on something like foil and not directly on the perlite i'm thinking your getting that aeriel type growth because it's still trying to colonize because of that verm which you can clearly see in pic 3, gl 2 you!

Take out your bottom layer of verm and perlite.
Replace it with just perlite, and fan out your cakes more. Then your mycelium won't be so aerial like that.
