buried my casing outside
    #1829361 - 08/19/03 11:18 AM (20 years, 7 months ago)

I have a talpalpa casing that got struck by the green meanie...\

i cut out the chunk of green meanie and salted its edges.... then i took the casing outside and buried in some shallow soil around some trees in an area that is covered in woodchips....
whats the likelyhood of this succeeding? i live in southern manitoba and its been like 30+ degrees celcius for the past few days

any feedback on this would be helpful

Well, my experiences aren't very encouraging I'm afraid, but the climate is way different here. Make sure your new patch is nice and humid, that's about all you can do. Just wait, if you're lucky, somewhere along the way nature might provide just the right circumstances to induce fruiting.

Patience is the key ingredient.

Water is a few times a week. And be patiet, outdoor patches are slow when you do it like that.
