Does this look ready for pinning? its been cased for 24 hours now. Its 50/50 peat moss/vermiculate with B+.

I would let it mature a bit more, patch case a little. Make it nice and even.

tbabyluv, give your casing a whiff. If it smells sour/nasty then I'm afraid it has contamed.

yea does kinda look like cobweb, but i see a lot of pictures with that quality that look bad. if it doesn't smell do what kukusz said and patch that sucker lightly and wait a day or two

Crap, I was worried about that. I mean I know that its supposed to kinda look cobwebby when its growing, anyway I just woke up and didn't get a chance to patch it up. I think you guys might be right though, just take a look you can probably tell better from this picture. Whats it supposed to look like?

definitely cobweb if it has grown that fast. sorry man but that casing is gone. give it a proper burial in the backyard, tend to it every so often and maybe you'll get something.

cobweb looks real fluffy, kinda stringy, and it can grow well above the surface of the casing. check out the FAQ for more info.
